Clearing Up More Confusion about Canadian Criminal Records

  1. This writer spends too much time trying to convince the public that his information is correct regarding U.S. waivers.

Yesterday, I showed his statement stating that no rehabilitation is required to be shown in getting a U.S. waiver approved to a few American Immigration lawyer colleagues. They were stunned that someone actually posted this on a well known and respected newspaper. The writer's lack of knowledge clearly shows how dangerous it is when you use these "discount waiver" companies to process complex waiver applications. You truly get what you pay for. As of the date of this post...The writer has still failed to answer the question about why he does not have an actual lawyer working on the payroll. Legal advice must come from a lawyer. By even filling out these forms, it is still giving legal advice to the person because you have to discuss the case specifics with them anyway.

This is not my rule...This comes from the The Law Society.

ALso, just to clear up confusion with the writer... I am not a lawyer, and do not give out legal advice. I work with lawyers on these cases.

  2. Please read my posts more carefully before making hysterical claims.

    1. We DO have lawyers on retainer, on both the Canadian and American side.

    2. Regarding the "rehabilitation" comment, we are arguing semantics. This is petty and could go on forever. It is obvious that they will not give a waiver to a habitual criminal.

Do not attempt to discredit people on their own blogs. They call that "trolling." It is not only unprofessional, it is rude. If you are so determined to share your (often incorrect) views, I suggest you start your own.

  3. It is indeed interesting that you say that you have lawyers on retainer. Just to clear up any misconceptions..Areyou saying that you have lawyers on retainer for the pardon applications, waiver applications or both? My main focus is on the waiver applications...If you indeed do have lawyers on the waiver applications...then I would be interested in knowing who he is...I know most of the lawyers in the WASH State/Vancouver BC area whom work on these waivers...I would be interested in knowing if he is a member of AILA(American Immigration Lawyers Association). The reason why I ask this is because some of your information on previously blogs was incorrect. I was wondering if he was aware of it or not. The public has a right to personally judge the credentials of whomever they choose to prepare their applications. My questions are simple ones and shouldn't be a big issue.

I am simply wondering when you say for example:

"We DO have lawyers on retainer, on both the Canadian and American side."

This doesn't necessarily mean that you have lawyers who work on and sign off on your cases. You did not specifically say that a lawyer signs off on your cases.

    When you said:

"2. Regarding the "rehabilitation" comment, we are arguing semantics. This is petty and could go on forever. It is obvious that they will not give a waiver to a habitual criminal."

I agree that they will not give a waiver to a proven habitual criminal....Then again...we have gotten waivers for persons with 8 convictions or more...Now, I am unsure what you call habitual...

    Furthermore.. You said

"Do not attempt to discredit people on their own blogs. They call that "trolling." It is not only unprofessional, it is rude. If you are so determined to share your (often incorrect) views, I suggest you start your own."

I agree with you about me starting my own blog(which I have already done). My main point to all of this is that this work is very complex and has a lot of specifics. Sometimes, we can argue case law and get people out of needing waivers for life...We have done this for about 40% of our clients...We make less money that way, but we get numerous referrals from their friends who have a similiar problem. Anyway, I am not offering any discredit. I have just asked simple questions and you seem to get defensive about them. People should get actual legal advice from a lawyer before these applications are filed. I do not give out legal advice(only after i become a lawyer). lawyers can be disciplined, so they have a much higher standard of accountability. The last thing they want is a disbarment...So they have a vested interest to aggressively perform their duties. Point being that some companies in this business face no such limitation. So, rudeness is not my objective. My objective is that the information should be correct whatsoever(since pople's lives are directly affected.

Also, according to dictionary.com...The definition for trolling is not what you have stated...but this is just my opinion and what I saw at the aforementioned site.

  4. The proof is in the pudding. We have removed more records and provided more pardons than anyone else in Canada. You haven't.

For nearly 20 years we have been doing this. How long have you?

We have a 99% accuracy rate. Do you?

We also have many satisfied customers. Here are some Pardon Services Canada testimonials. Please show us yours.

However, do so on your own blog.

I am happy to post your blog address and the website of your business for potential clients to browse. As I see no threat in your unprofessional conduct.

I have asked you not to post your vitriol here. So for the last time, do not, or I will block you.

However, I will allow you to post the links to your blogs and website below (and that is all) so the public can see the very operations I warn them about.

  5. Immigration Guy, you are a troll. I asked you several times to quit posting your misguided information on this blog. I even offered you the opportunity to put links, here, on MY blog, to yours.

But you refused. And you kept on trolling.

I'm sorry, but I have no choice but to ban you from this site. You were amusing fodder for a while, but now I see that your attempts were nothing more than deliberate and crude vandalism. Grow up and Goodbye.
